Noida Metro: Key Facts at a Glance

• The Noida Metro map covers the 29.7 km NMRC Aqua Line, with 21 elevated stations between Noida Sector 51 and Depot Station in Greater Noida.
• Aqua Line fares range from INR 10 (≈ USD 0.11) to INR 50 (≈ USD 0.53) from Monday through Saturday, with lower maximum fares on Sundays and three national holidays.
• First trains leave both terminals at 6:00 AM Monday through Saturday and 8:00 AM on Sunday; the last terminal departure is 10:00 PM every day.

This map is the starting point for Aqua Line trips between Noida and Greater Noida. The sections below identify the NMRC station sequence, distinguish the separate DMRC connections, and explain fares, service hours and airport journeys.

This Noida Metro map follows the 21 open stations, all of which are elevated, along the continuous NMRC corridor between Noida and Greater Noida. The DMRC Blue and Magenta lines are separate networks.

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation opened passenger service on January 26, 2019. Its current corridor runs 29.7 km from Noida Sector 51 to Depot Station, with 15 stations in Noida and six in Greater Noida.

NMRC is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. In July 2026, the operator recorded 1,916,143 passenger journeys, averaging 61,811 per day.

Noida is an established IT and business center. The NMRC Aqua Line works best for the Noida to Greater Noida axis, while several central Noida destinations sit on DMRC lines.

This ordered station list for the Noida Metro route map shows Sector 142 as an open station on the existing corridor. Sector 63 and Sector 80 are not Aqua Line stations, so journeys there need a separately planned road or DMRC connection.

NMRC lists park-and-ride facilities at 15 Aqua Line stations, including Noida Sector 51, Noida Sector 137, Pari Chowk, Alpha 1 and Delta 1. Parking is intended for metro passengers, and overnight parking is not allowed.

How to Read the Noida Metro Map

Trace the turquoise station labels from Noida Sector 51 at one end to Depot Station at the other; the intermediate labels follow the same order as the station list above. The plan is limited to the NMRC Aqua Line and does not include the separate DMRC Blue and Magenta routes.

Noida Metro Connections: NMRC and DMRC Stay Separate

The Blue Line is operated by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and reaches Noida Electronic City through Noida Sector 62, Sector 52 and Sector 18. The Magenta Line, also DMRC, ends at Botanical Garden.

Botanical Garden is a DMRC interchange between the Blue and Magenta lines, not an NMRC station. Okhla Bird Sanctuary is on the Magenta Line, while Noida Sector 18 and Noida Electronic City are on the Blue Line.

The operator change is between NMRC Noida Sector 51 and DMRC Sector 52. NMRC and DMRC are separate systems with separate tickets, so a single ticket does not cover both parts of the journey.

The right line depends on the destination. The Aqua Line serves the expressway sectors and Greater Noida, while DMRC reaches Sector 18, Botanical Garden and Film City; some locations still require a road connection.

The metro is generally more useful to business travelers and commuters than to conventional sightseers. Visitors should match an address to its operator before choosing a station, particularly around the expressway office districts.

NMRC fares depend on the number of stations traveled. The Monday through Saturday scale has six bands, while lower fares apply on Sundays, Republic Day, Independence Day and Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.

Current NMRC products include QR tickets for single journeys, return journeys and group travel, plus the SBI NMRC CITY 1 Card. The official NMRC Tickets App sells Aqua Line QR tickets.

QR tickets are sold at every NMRC ticket window and in the official app. Ticket-vending machines are at Sector 51 and Knowledge Park II, and payment at the point of sale can be made in cash, by debit or credit card, or via UPI.

Enter within 30 minutes of buying a QR ticket. After passing the entry gate, the standard maximum journey time is 90 minutes; a return ticket covers the same pair of stations.

The contactless CITY 1 Card deducts the fare at the exit gate and gives 10% off each journey. Riders need a minimum balance of INR 50 (≈ USD 0.53), while the stored balance may reach INR 2,000 (≈ USD 21.01).

The CITY 1 Card can be reloaded in INR 100 (≈ USD 1.05) increments. The online loading fee is 1.8% or INR 12 (≈ USD 0.13), whichever is lower; the card remains valid for one year from its latest reload.

The first Aqua Line trains leave Noida Sector 51 and Depot Station at 6:00 AM from Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, the first train leaves both terminals at 8:00 AM.

The last terminal departure is 10:00 PM every day. A later 10:45 PM time shown for Noida Sector 50 is a train passing toward Sector 51, not a departure from either terminal.

From Monday through Friday, trains run approximately every 7 minutes 30 seconds at peak times and every 10 minutes off-peak.

The Aqua Line does not run 24 hours. For late arrivals, use a bus, auto-rickshaw or taxi rather than relying on overnight metro service.

Stations provide tactile paths and elevators prioritized for passengers with physical impairments. Passengers who need assistance should contact station staff for the most suitable entrance and route.

Allow time for security screening. Luggage may weigh up to 25 kg and measure no more than 80 x 50 x 30 cm; pets, firearms and smoking are prohibited in the station area.

Noida International Airport in Jewar, code DXN, began handling commercial flights on June 15, 2026. It currently handles domestic flights, and its first phase is designed for 12 million passengers per year.

DXN lies 48 km southeast of Greater Noida. No operating metro or railway reaches the terminal; current ground transport options are bus, City Shuttle, airport taxi, ride-hailing service and rental car.

The prebooked City Shuttle between Botanical Garden and DXN takes about 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the run. An air-conditioned electric bus from Noida City Centre runs every 30 minutes.

For Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, code DEL, Terminal 1 and Botanical Garden are on the DMRC Magenta Line. This provides the simplest rail route between T1 and central Noida.

From Terminal 3, take Airport Express to New Delhi, ride the Yellow Line one stop to Rajiv Chowk, then change to the Blue Line for Noida. The T3 to New Delhi segment takes about 21 minutes, not the whole trip.

For planning, allow approximately 60 to 90 minutes from T3 to the Noida DMRC corridor, then additional time for any onward journey. To continue on NMRC, transfer between DMRC Sector 52 and NMRC Noida Sector 51; the two systems require separate tickets.

The open Aqua Line remains the 29.7 km, 21-station NMRC corridor. Extensions belong to separate planned or procurement-stage projects and are not part of the operating total.

The proposed Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V extension is an NMRC planned corridor of 17.4 km with 11 elevated stations. Its plan includes an interchange with the DMRC Blue Line at Noida Sector 61, but it has no confirmed opening date.

The Union Cabinet approved the NMRC Botanical Garden to Sector 142 corridor in February 2026. It covers 11.6 km and eight elevated stations, with procurement for construction underway; the tender’s 36-month contract period is not an opening date.

The Depot Station to Boraki MMTH extension is also approved, with procurement for construction underway. It covers 2.6 km with two elevated stations and is intended to connect with rail, ISBT and bus services at the future multimodal hub.

The proposed Ghaziabad to Noida International Airport RRTS belongs to NCRTC, not NMRC. The 72.2 km, 25-station proposal remains under appraisal, with no operating rail service or confirmed opening date for DXN.

Fun Fact: All 21 stations on the operating NMRC Aqua Line are elevated, including the full route from Noida Sector 51 to Depot Station.
