It is a 50:50 joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>Passenger service began on the <strong>9 km IIT Kanpur to Moti Jheel priority section<\/strong> on December 28, 2021, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1785815\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Government of India opening record<\/a>.
