This matters on the Tseung Kwan O Line and East Rail Line, which have branches.<\/p>\n<p>The diagram is schematic rather than geographically exact. A visual crossing is not necessarily a transfer, and the citywide route diagram does not replace station exit information. MTR provides location maps and station layouts that show nearby buildings and exits.<\/p>\n<p>For a departure-specific route, use the official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtr.com.hk\/en\/customer\/jp\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trip Planner<\/a>. It calculates the route, estimated time, fare and transfers for the selected journey. It has <strong>68 stops across 36.15 km<\/strong> and connects with the Tuen Ma Line at Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai, Siu Hong and Tuen Mun.<\/p>\n<p>Hong Kong Tramways, often called the Ding Ding, and Peak Tram are separate systems with their own operators. Peak Tram is a funicular, not another MTR line.
